Here you will find a guide on how to play starting hands depending on your position at the table. Start counting after the Big Blind. Keep this site as your guide while you play poker. It shall be a helpful tool specially if you are a new player.

The hands you decide not to fold are called your starting hands. The major factors which you should take into account when deciding which hands to play are:

  • The strength of your hand
  • Whether the bet has been raised and by how much before it gets to you
  • How many people are in, or you feel are likely to be in
  • Your position in relation to the dealer
  • The style of your opponents, how aggressive they are and what hands they tend to play

Now as well as the starting hands, you will have the winning odds with the free poker calculator. It's easy to use. Select the cards and then click on the "get odds" button. If you want to change a card just click on it and then choose the card! Play with the calculator until you learn it! For some more free poker tools click here. Have fun and big shares at Poker tables!
